About ICCBC

ICCBC is a newly formed organization that is looking to develop over 13 acres of land into a momentous Islamic Cultural Centre for British Columbia.

A group of community volunteers are working towards promoting this project in the Muslim community. Distinguished and qualified members from diverse ethnic backgrounds will comprise the ICCBC Board of Trust and Board of Directors. Fleetwood Islamic Academy Society in the interim has made a deposit of $250K with an agreement to buy this land with assignment rights. InshAllah, ICCBC is undergoing registration as an organization with the BC Govt. and in due course the land will be bought by ICCBC.

All financial contributions in the meantime are going into a separate Bank account of Fleetwood Islamic Academy Society of BC, Charity Registration Number 842569196 RR0001 (identified as “Project Account”), which will be handed over to ICCBC. All donations are tax-deductible.

Vision:

To establish a multipurpose Cultural Centre in a private, peaceful and tranquil setting for all Muslims to enjoy. A place for all Muslims of BC irrespective of Organizations they belong to where all services are shariah compliant.

Mission:

The purpose of the Islamic Cultural Centre is to provide a place for all ages of the Islamic community and others to gather in a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment.

ICCBC shall provide…

- Childcare for our little ones, Leadership training and Recreation for our youth, Elderly Care for our seniors along with a place for worship and interfaith dialogue for all being the focal point.

- Multi-purpose gymnasium, banquet halls and other required facilities to engage in providing programs, events and services for the betterment of our ummah as a whole.

- A park-like setting surrounded by trees, flowers and vegetable gardens set amongst picnic areas in a tranquil and peaceful sanctuary for families to gather and enjoy throughout the year.
